Awoken – Artistic Film and Photoshoot

We had quite a snow storm last week here in Michigan. This is something Michiganders easily become numb to over the years. When spring arrives, it can be 80 degrees Fahrenheit one day and below zero the next. We never know what jacket to bring to the party.

I grabbed my camera and took a few snaps of the ice forming on the flowers and trees blooming in my yard.

Reflecting on the photos helped inspire this short artistic film. I was drawn to a variety of feelings and ideas related to transformation, human collective consciousness, life, death, rebirth, and the universal relationships between humans, nature, climate change, and technology.

“High On Huron”- Director’s Cut

Short spring drone clip from the lower Huron River, located near Flat Rock, Michigan and the Oakwoods MetroPark. Such a joy to have these nature parks available to access. This is especially true for us introverts that need places to escape to. Fly with me “High On Huron” and enjoy the view!

Spring Love Story

I love and miss my wife! With both of our jobs, working as first responders of one type or another with the Covid-19 crisis, our schedules changed so we don’t have a single day off together anymore. This month will mark almost 25 years of friendship. Times like this really make you dig deep inside, but it is the love you share with a special someone that makes it all worth something! Take care everyone 🐼✌️🤙

Spring And Snow – Video Of The Day

Video clip of last Sunday’s trip to Ann Arbor, Michigan. Flew my Mavic Pro about 225 feet above the Huron River near Gallop Park. The wind was difficult to navigate as it started to snow some light flurries mid flight with random gusts of strong wind. This was my first time flying in the snow and with less than ideal flying weather. I was really suprised how well the Mavic performed. I couldn’t risk staying in the air long with these conditions so I had to cut my flight short. It is a beautiful area that I hope to revisit again.
