Beliefs in faeries as otherworldly creatures has been around for centuries. They have appeared in paintings and in literature, mainly as the winged creatures of children's stories we have all enjoyed. In Gaelic folklore however, they are very powerful beings.
Saint Clair River is a very well known River in the Great Lakes region and an important waterway for trade. It is also a river that boarders Canada and the United States. Here are some highlights of my visit shot on the US side but you can see Canada as well in many of the photos
