“Duality” – Photo Of The Day

The Duality of Life and Death. ...

Duality teaches us that every aspect of life is created from a balanced interaction of opposite and competing forces. Yet these forces are not just opposites; they are complementary. They do not cancel out each other, they merely balance each other like the dual wings of a bird.

I struggle to maintain a balanced lifestyle like I am sure most of us do. Everyone walks their own path in life and in doing so I recommend if you haven't already found it to seek out your own ways to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
The closer I get to my own personal balance the more satisfied and happier I feel. It is a constant balancing act.
Family, Blogging, getting out in nature, droning, photo editing, creating, are ways I help balance my stressful day job as a social worker.

Please share in the comments some of your own ways you help maintain your balance.

“Higgins High” – Photo Of The Day

Really enjoyed my last adventure in Northern Michigan. This is one of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen in awhile. Higgins Lake is located in Roscommon, Michigan. It is one of my most favorite places to visit. The people are so very friendly, polite, and will talk to complete strangers like friends. Sometimes it is difficult for me to engage in these conversations initially as this just doesn't happen in the city. When I do force myself to suppress my city instincts in an effort to make small talk with the locals, I am always glad that I did.
Sometimes the most simple conversations are the most rewarding. It reminds me what it means to be human being. That we are all connected in this crazy amazing world. With the leaps we make in technology, it might be good for us to remember to make an effort to skip that ATM machine, put down that tablet, phone, and go outside of our comfort zones to engage others in conversation like my Northern friends do. It just make someone else's day a bit brighter. Everyone have a great week. ✌️🐼❤️

Beauty Challenge

For many of us, it is so easy to get caught up in our daily lives and routines, that we either don’t see or don’t take the time to realize the beauty that’s surrounds us.

Why Do We Fall?

We can all achieve happiness even in our darkest moments as long as we continue to grow, nurture a positive attitude and mentality. We may not be able to control the things that happen to us, but we can choose how we react.

Funkle

My niece loves to learn new things, and I enjoyed an afternoon with her showing her the steps on how to put motors on a drone. "Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey", was the lesson of the day. 🙂

Haircut Experience

Earlier this week, I was having a rough morning and it only got progressively worse as the day went along at my job. I was feeling an overpowering sense of low self-esteem that morning and was trying to search within why.

Visionary

Creativity is more than a mood. It is more than expressing a feeling inside. It is more than being gifted. It is an intimate experience within your spirit.

Wandering Gaze

My mind is constantly wandering about. Instead of focusing what is directly in front of you, relax your eyes and open your mind. That is when the the whole picture will become clear.
