After a whole week with no sunshine, I finally saw a break in the clouds and drove as fast as I could "legally" to Newburgh Lake in Livonia Michigan. The park was empty as it was very cold.
I was flying and saw this beautiful swan. I never want to disrupt nature when I fly, but become part of it. Oddly enough it seems like ducks, swans, and geese, do not seem to be bothered with my quadcopter.
This video is with a custom built 5 inch quadcopter I built myself. It incorporates the newest DJI FPV System. I am planning to post a review of this system as I test it a bit more, but so far I have been blown away with it's performance.
My confidence level as a pilot has increased 100%. It uses a digital signal rather than the traditional analog video feed that gets sent from the drone's camera to the goggles I wear when I fly. It's like going from watching a worn VHS tape with static and lines to watching a DVD. I will still use analog as it has it's benefits, but I think I am hooked on this new system.
Enjoy this video and everyone have a great week.
