My lovely wife and I really enjoy nature. This past year my wife started bird watching. She purchased a book that highlights all of the amazing birds that have been reported here in Michigan.

For her birthday this year, I purchased her a see through bird feeder that looks like a Swiss chalet to me. This is quite possibly due to my Swiss heritage I inherited from my father’s side of the family.

The feeder is attached to our largest window facing the front of our home located in the metropolitan area of Detroit, Michigan.

Yesterday, some White-breasted Nuthatches visited our Chalet.
