This is the golf course where my father taught me about golf. I admit at the time, I didn’t appreciate the game. I was younger and enjoyed faster paced sports such as ice hockey, roller hockey, baseball and soccer.
In my early 20s, I suffered a terrible injury to my back, that still requires active treatment and maintenance to this day.
I have learned to appreciate the sport more the older I get. Especially when you are walking about the course and come in contact with all sorts of nature’s beauty and wildlife.
It is pretty common at Dearborn Hills to enjoy the company of deer that like to watch near the river from a distance. In my mind, I pretend they are cheering for me.
Anyways, me and my whole family enjoy this course that is open to the public. Check it out if you are in the area located in Dearborn, Michigan. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Wow, the colours.
