Took this aerial photo the weekend before last.  Had an awesome adventure in Northern Michigan near Higgins Lake.  It was very exciting to see the subtle seasonal transitions beginning to take shape all around me.  I love this picture as it captures the rich mix of seasonal colors I was blessed to witness.

When I look back at this photo, it reminds me about changes happening in my own life.  Just like some of the positive changes of improving oneself we all strive for, it is important to realize that the change we seek may not happen as quickly as we would like.  Sometimes the change we desire is a slow subtle shift that even we cannot consciously see or feel yet but it is there.

For someone like me that has difficulties with patience, it brings me some comfort knowing that nature and the universe has a path and a design already set in motion.  It’s a great reminder that with time and patience, everthing will work out in the end.
